About Creekwood

Creekwood is a popular gated condominium community in San Diego, California. Located in the middle of Mission Valley, it is close to freeways, schools, parks, stores, restaurants, and services.

Creekwood was built in 1986 and today there are 252 units. Floor plans offer one to two bedrooms, one to two bathrooms, and 682 to 977 square feet of living space. Each home has its own laundry room. The Home Owners Association dues cover landscaping, common area maintenance, and building repairs. Residents also have access to the community swimming pool, spa, outdoor grill, and exercise center. This neighborhood is known for its water fountains, ponds, streams, and concrete paths that go along the San Diego River starting at the Qualcomm Stadium and down to Ocean Beach and Mission Bay for about seven miles.

The San Diego Unified School District is the second largest in the state. Students attend facilities like Juarez Elementary School, Taft Middle School, and Kearny Construction Tech School. There are hundreds of private institutions like the Calvary Christian Academy, Escondido Adventists Academy, the Montessori American School, and Halstrom Academy. This neighborhood is just minutes from University of California (UCSD) and San Diego State University (SDSU) as well as the San Diego Community College District.

San Diego is California’s second largest city and the nation’s eighth. Its economy relies on tourism, manufacturing, international trade, and military defense related activities. Tourists are attracted to San Diego for its beaches, San Diego Zoo, and the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. It also brings in visitors for its annual San Diego Beer Week, held in November.
